Horseback Riding

The friendly well-mannered horses: Nicholas, Tripoli, Sammy, Windy, Bunny and Awesay are waiting to take you for your privately guided trail ride around the lovely pond, over the bridge and through miles of beautiful and exciting wooded park trails. All of our horses are very gentle, they know they're loved, and perfectly suited for beginners to experienced riders. (Up to 4 riders per ride only)

Equus Meadow is quite different from other riding stables. When you ride with us, we take only you and the other persons in your party. Private Guided Horseback Riding by appointment. NO strangers riding with you! Miles of trails in a park-like setting surround you. If you've never ridden a horse before, this is the place for you, because each rider is given personal attention and horsemanship guidance. If you are a more experienced rider, you'll see our horses are very responsive to your commands. Beginners and experienced riders are allowed to ride at their own ability level (trotting and cantering is allowed if you wish to do so).

Whatever your experience level may be, by the end of your ride on our personally trained well-mannered horses, you'll know you had one of the best horseback riding experiences ever!

You don't need to be a guest at our Inn to come riding here. This service is open to the pubic.

HOURS for APPOINTMENTS

9 a.m. til dusk, 7 days a week

(and in just about any kind of weather!)

APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Due to our small size and private riding services, a Valid Credit Card # is required to reserve riding time. Minimum of 24 hours advance notice in order to cancel or your credit will be charged the entire riding reservation fee.

RIDING FEES

Our riding style is Western Saddles only,

GUIDED TRAIL RIDES:

    $40 single individual person

We do not charge extra for trotting and cantering on your trail ride!

RIDING LESSONS:

    $40 per person

    (adult ages 13 & above)

      privately or maximum 2 persons

    $35 per person

    (child ages 7-12 )

      privately or maximum 2 persons

In order to keep our rates nominal, we require Cash Payments Only Please. Reserving with your Credit Card is our business policy for our protection in case of late cancellations and no shows.

There are no hidden charges

and tipping is voluntary
